We have two boats, do Shore dives and cater for all types of Diver.

Get into UK diving with us this summer. Explore your local underwater world.

What’s Special Offer all about?

We are a friendly, member-led dive club, run by volunteers that share a love of diving. This summer we have put together a package for you to decide that UK diving is your next big adventure. If you already have a diving certification we will recognise it so you can dive with us as your training allows.

What’s the offer?

Guided and supported by our experienced local divers and instructors, we offer:

– A three month introductory membership of the club.

– A skills refresher session with one of our qualified instructors to help you build confidence for UK diving.

– A guided shore dive with one of our experienced local divers.

– A guided offshore dive out on one of our RIBs to experience the full adventure of UK diving.

For these three dives , we will provide BCDs, cylinders, weights and air fills.

What do I need?

You’ll need some basic gear:

• Thermal protection (suitable wetsuit, gloves, hood and boots).
• Mask.
• Dive computer if you want to use one.

If you don’t have some of this gear, talk to us!  Some things we can easily accommodate other things might be more tricky for us (particularly suits).

How much does it cost?

The cost of this offer is £129.00.

This includes rental of BCD, regulators, cylinder, weights and weight belt for 3 dives.  It also covers air fills and all boat costs for you and your instructor/guide.

If you already have your own scuba gear – great!  Talk to us and we can remove the rental charges.

The small print:

Offer open to over 18s only.

Offer runs from July to October 2026.

All dives as part of the offer must be redeemed within 3 months.

Guest membership does not give voting rights in club matters.

After three month guest period, regular annual membership fees would apply if you want to continue diving with the club. (see website for details)  www.totnes-bsac.link

Diving is weather dependent, so planned diving schedules may change. If we can’t get you out diving within the offer period we will refund your fee as follows: £50 if we can’t schedule a boat dive; £30 if we can’t schedule a shore dive.  Refunds do not apply of you if you cancel a planned diving session.

You will need to complete a dive self-declaration medical.  For fit and healthy people this is usually a formality.  However, if medical conditions need review by  a medical professional, this can take time and may mean that we aren’t able to honour the membership offer for you this summer.

You will need to complete a guest diver form to supply us with details of your diving qualification and other information. As a Scuba Diver, you’ll be excited to share your underwater adventures with us! Once you’ve completed the guest diver form, we can ensure your experience is tailored to your skills and interests. Don’t worry, it’s a simple process that helps us keep everyone safe and have a fantastic time exploring together. We can’t wait to see you in the water and for you to meet your new friends in Totnes Sub Aqua Club!
